Ella always sounded like Ella, her voice trully sustained her for more than 50 years - it never cracked - what an amazing instrument; she is surely missed. Albeit, her songs, arrangements, and style maybe covered, but to date, never her voice - she is unrepeatable. Thanks for the memories. I thank all of the vocalist that honor Ella by emulating her style in the songs she popularized. May her spirit enliven their recordings and bless them with hits.

As I sat listening to the timeless melodic tunes of Ella Fitzgerald, I felt an overwhelming nostalgic euphoria that caused me to yearn for days gone by. I was Captivated by thoughts of ways to perpetualize the moment…until I said to myself…self, the limited brevity of the moment is in itself the beauty of it all.
